Submit your question below about any cosmetic procedure to be considered for posting with an answer from one of our board-certified plastic surgeons.

Sorry we can't answer all questions. We try to select questions that have the widest general interest.
I am a 57 year old female that would like to have a breast augmentation, am I too old?
You are not too old to have a breast augmentation, and there is not age limit to perform this procedure, since you are a healthy person and the pre-op evaluations are right. Regarding the cost, the implants must be FDA approved and they are not cheap, and depending on the surgeon's experience and location, the cost can be higher. Choose an ASAPS member plastic surgeon to be safe.
For sure age is not a criterion to have breast augmentation or not. However, the right question to ask is whether you will need a lifting procedure with the augmentation or will the augmentation alone give you a decent youthful look? to answer this you will need to consult with an ASAPS member experienced in breast surgery.
Best of luck.
