Can I have my 700cc breast implants removed?

Q:

I just got a 700cc breast implants on May 17th but I want them out. Since I got them I have only been sick with severe stomach and back pain. Can I get them removed without replacement?

A:

Absolutely!! Breast Implants are not for everyone. Some patients cannot tolerate them. Consider a consult with a member of the ASAPS in your area. Best,

Gary R Culbertson, MD, FACS

A:

You can have your newly placed breast implants removed, but, at less than two weeks, I would suggest waiting a while longer before making this decision. The symptoms you are having probably have nothing to do with the implants. If anything, you may need them reduced in size to a more reasonable size. Before deciding, see a board certified plastic surgeon and discuss all your worries.

Angelica,

There is no reason that you cannot have your breast implants removed.  It should be a much simpler procedure than when they were placed.
