Is Aquaderm safe for use as a facial filler?

Q:

I had Aquaderm used as a facial filler on my mid-cheek groove, cheek pouch, upper lip and chin. Is it safe? Or I should take it out?

A:

Aquaderm is a filler that is marketed outside the US. I can tell you very little about it. However, if you are having no problem, I would suggest that you do nothing. If you are having problems, I would seek advice from someone experienced in dealing with injectables.

A:

We just recommend products approved by the FDA, you just have to go online to their website www.fda.gov and make a search of what your ASAPS plastic surgeon will inject on your face.
