How much Artefill should be injected in nose?

Q:

I have done several injections of Artefill on my nose, but I am still not completely satisfied with the results. The doctor who has done this procedure has told me that its looks completely fine and that this is the best result he can make out of it. What else can I do? Thank you very much for your help!

A:

Thank you for your question. Obviously, without in person exam and consultation, I am limited in my ability to guide you properly.

Nonsurgical rhinoplasty has its limitations. If your surgeon believes that you can not achieve further improvement, then you will unlikely to receive significant improvement from dermal fillers in the future. You may need to consider a surgical option or accept the improvement that you have received to date.

To explore your options, consult in person 3 - 4 experienced and expert board certified plastic surgeons.

A:

Artefill and Nasal Augmentation – Artefill should definitely not be injected on your nose as this is a permanent filler. Since there is very little subcutaneous tissue, any temporizing filler should be injected deep. If you want or need to use nasal fillers, the most optimal fillers are hyaluronic acid fillers such as Juvederm or Restylane.
