Would a breast reduction after Chiari decompression help?

Q:

I still have horrible headaches, neck and back pain and have had decompression surgery for a Chiari malformation. Would getting a breast reduction since I also have 36 DDD or larger breasts help?

A:

I would first consider returning to your surgeon(s) that performed your decompression for the Chiari Malformation to address your concerns/ sysmptons. Then, I would seek out a second opinion from a Neurologist. If both professionals agree that a breast reduction would benefit you then, ask them for a letter recommending the procedure. Take the letters to a member of the ASAPS. I am sure they will conduct a thorough evaluation and assist you with your issue.

 Best,
