Would I be considered a candidate for a breast reduction?

I am a 38-40 D. Would I be considered a candidate for a breast reduction? I also have Osteoarthritis in my tail bone, lower lumbar, thumbs and knees. Will BCBS of IL cover the procedure?

The decision to do breast reduction is based on the patient's desire for smaller breasts and surgeon's capability for giving her the size she wants in a safe way. Whether your procedure will be covered by IL insurance or not will depend on the insurance policy and whether the surgeon you chose accepts insurance payment for this procedure or not. You will have to discuss this with the surgeon you chose and I would advise you to seek an ASAPS member.
