What is the cost to have arm and leg extra skin removed?

Q:

I have lost a lot of weight and want to get all the extra skin on my legs and arms off. How can I start this process and how much would it cost?

A:

Krystle,

To start this process consider a consult with an ASAPS Member in your area. Write down your concerns and request they be addressed at a consultation. Often arm & leg surgery are done at separate settings to reduce post operative complications.

Best,

Great to hear that you have lost so much weight. this is a very difficult question to answer without pictures.  The arms are connected to the upper back and breast so you can imagine how difficult it is to give cost.  It would be very expensive ;any where between 20 and 30 thousand dollars for both.  This type of price will, most likely, include the doctor, hospital, anesthesiologist and all after care.    Prices can vary but go to a board certified plastic surgeon.
