What is the cost to remove lower belly fat and skin?

Q:

I am 35 yrs old, I weighed 275lbs and decided to get gastric bypass surgery. I now have my "baby belly" as I call it, the weight I gained from having two babies. I would say that this skin weighs about 20lbs maybe more, it is pulling on my back and has always caused problems, I need it removed. It is disgusting and I have stopped being intimate with my fiance because I feel and look horrible.

A:

The only way to get rid of excess skin and fat in the abdomen is by abdominoplasty. You will get a better results when you are near your ideal body weight, the risks will also be much less. The type of abdominoplasty and body contouring surgery depends on the physical examination and the desired final result. consult a board certified plastic surgeon for advise.

A:

Most patients go back to being overweight within five years after a Bariatric procedure, and unfortunately plastic surgery doesn't solve this problem. We have to see what you have in your whole body and in the abdominal area to determine if you a candidate for an abdominoplasty. Prices will depend on the procedure, the surgeon and the facility.
