I have a few face bumps from Sebaceous Hyperplasia that was active two years ago. Will Active FX Laser treatment remove them?

Q:

I have several face bumps from Sebaceous Hyperplasia that was active two years ago.  If I get treatment with active FX Laser, will it remove them?

A:

Yes, assuming that the sebaceous hyperplasia is controlled, and you are not on Accutane for at least the last one year.

One needs to diagnose these bumps.  They can be improved with laser resurfacing.  As for the active FX, which can offer you a FRACTIONAL CO2 LASER RESURFACING, you can choose from a menu of CO2 resurfacing  treatments.  If you elect the light or medium fractional treatment, then you will have a shorter down time but will require multiple treatment sessions.  Or you can choose to have the traditional ablative CO2 treatment which requires a longer recovery time.
