Can fat be injected into the wrists to increase their size?

Q:

Is there a certain type of surgery that can be done to increase wrist size or can fat be injected into the wrists to increase their size?

A:

Yes, fat can be injected beneath the skin of the wrists.  A portion of the fat will gain local blood supply and be long lasting.  A portion will also be absorbed so often there is overcorrection done anticipating that some fat will not survive.  There may be more than one session of fat injection to achieve optimal results.  Seek a board certified plastic surgeon for consultation who is familiar with the technique of fat injection.

A:

Yes, fat injections around your wrists can help you. You may need it more than once, [2-3 times] as some percentage of fat gets absorbed in the first few months. You need to see a surgeon locally, familiar with the techniques of fat injection.
