Will fingernails develop again?

Q:

One of my fingers was pulled into a running machine. I have lost my finger nails. Treatment has been done and I want to know will the nails develop again or do I have to do something else? Is nail implantation possible?

A:

Yes, a nail transplant from your toes to your fingers can be performed to correct some nail bed deformities.

Best,
