Can the highest level Fraxel skin resurfacing be done the same time as laparoscopic gallbladder removal while I am anesthesized?

Q:

Since I will be an inpatient in the hospital for a day or two for laparoscopic gall bladder removal, would it be possible to have some plastic surgery procedures done at the same time?  I would like to have Fraxel skin resurfacing done on my face and chest and also have an armlift.  I am in good health, 48 years old, and just had twins 1 month ago.  I've already lost all of the baby weight gain without any stretch marks remaining.  My arms sagged before the pregnancy due to  previous liposuction of the upper arms.  Now that I am an older new mother, I would like the face resurfacing just to freshen up my appearance.  Please advise.

A:

I see no reason why Fraxel couldn't be done concurrent with the gall bladder surgery if both your general and plastic surgeon agree and can coordinate their schedules.  The Fraxel machine would also have to get to the inpatient hospital operating room.
