Huge belly after tummy tuck & liposuction, what could be wrong?

Q:

Four months ago I had a tummy tuck & liposuction. My belly is still huge and protrudes out below my breasts. I look pregnant. The doctor keeps telling me this is not a weight loss procedure, but that isn't my concern. It was supposed to give me a flat stomach, but that isn't the case. My tummy is rock hard and bulges horribly after I ingest any amount of food or drink, what could be wrong?

A:

What you are describing, most probably, is large amount of fat inside the abdomen. This fat is pushing and causing your abdomen to bulge out in spite of the tummy tuck. You need to make this fat your concern and start loosing the weight to get some improvement. That also will decrease your other risks of visceral fat.
