Can I get the perfect body?

Q:

I have been searching over a year for the perfect plastic surgeon in Houston, TX to help me get the "PERFECT BODY". I am extremely particular on what I want my body to look like and also the body parts that need work. I want to look a specific way and I also have photographs of how I want to look. Is this realistic? Could I get the perfect body?

A:

As plastic surgeons we always want to match the patients expectations with what we can do in surgery.  There are times where the patients expectations are just not possible.  There are some things that just can not be achieved.  Even Michael Jackson, who had plenty of money, could not achieve the nose that he wanted.  His idea of the "perfect nose" was different than what others thought was a perfect nose.  What you may see as a "perfect body" may be achievable, and it may not.  Be open to what your Board Certified Plastic Surgeon (Hopefully one that is a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery) has to say about your expectations, and if they are achievable or not.  Good luck in your search.
