What are the price ranges for liposuction?
Prices for Liposuction vary by area(s) requested to be treated and region of our country. Here is a link that may be of some assistance ( http://www.surgery.org/sites/default/files/ASAPS-2012-Stats.pdf ). Consider a consult with an ASAPS Member in your area to answer your questions and address your concerns. Best,

What is important for you to understand is that "liposuction" is being performed by any body with an MD after their names, even without formal training in cosmetic surgery. It is more important to chose the plastic surgeon over the price. Correction of bad results of liposuction can be much more expensive and more difficult. Chose a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon (American Board of Plastic Surgery).
As you might imagine, price ranges for abdominal liposuction depend on several factors. First, it has to do cost-of-living where you are. For instance, it'll probably be more expensive in NYC as compared to a rural part of the country. If it's done in a hospital, the fees are usually higher than if it is in a private doctor's office. Then, there are patient factors -- such as how much is to be removed. (A little or a lot, and fees would vary proportionately.)
Laser liposuction is performed typically with the patient awake in our private fully accredited operating facility, and so costs are usually lower. Fees typically range from $3,000 to $6,000 for abdominal liposuction, depending on some of these factors.
