What would be the recovery time period in the Dominican Republic for a Mommy Make Over?
Plan to spend at least two to three weeks in the area. Arrange for regular follow-ups after you surgery. Try to avoid the Cut & Dash approach to Cosmetic Surgery. If someone operates on you they are also responsible for your care in the post-operative period. Few surgeons/contractors care to take over after someone else botches up a job.

I tell my out of town patients I want them to spend 3 weeks after surgery in Boston so I can be sure they have healed well and I am able to deal with any potential problems. The surgeon who operates on you is responsible for your recovery and this should not be passed on to another doctor. In fact, you may find it difficult to find another doctor to take over care of you should any problems arise.
