Can I get rid of (acne) scars on my arms with chemical peeling?

Q:

I have lots of small, light colored scars and some pigment spots all over the outer surface of my upper arms. These are the result of acne like spots that I have been scratching and now I regret it and really want to get rid of them. Some lighter laser peeling a while ago helped, but it was definitely not enough. A dermatologist told me that the only thing that really could help me is a deeper chemical peeling. What do you recommend for me? Can a phenol peeling help?

A:

It will depend on how deep your scars are, but if you are not in a hurry, everything is possible.
