Is it safe to do microdermabrasion in a salon versus plastic surgeon?

Q:

MICRODERMABRASION - Safe in a skin treatment salon?

A:

Microdermaberasion is very superficial, and removes the dead outer layer of the skin. The results are very similar to light exfoliation.

Such treatment effect will not treat anything or any skin condition. It does not change pigmentation, pore size, scars, acne or any other skin condition. It may give your skin a nice feel for few days.
