Can I have a tattoo excision?

Q:

I have a small to medium tattoo on the side of my neck, closer to the hairline, that I want excised. I am having trouble finding a surgeon who does this in Connecticut.

A:

Before thinking about an excision if you have clear (white) skin, you can try a laser treatment, or ask your ASAPS surgeon for a Dermabrasion. Those methods work very good in many cases.
