Will a tummy tuck cost less if I only have excess skin removed and not liposuction?

Q:

Will a tummy tuck cost less if I only have excess skin removed and not liposuction? I also do not want to have the muscles tightened. How do I get the best deal?

A:

Be careful what you look for in a deal. My strong advice is to pick carefully for a surgeon board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a member of The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. That way you have the best chance to have the procedure achieve your results.

Liposuction is performed when indicated not on all tummy tucks. And a muscle repair may be indicated to get the best result for you.

Do your research. Get a consult or a second if not comfortable with the first. This is your body, and you want the procedure to be performed properly, the first time.

A:

Be careful about looking for the best deal.  Fees will vary around the country but a good result will go along way.  Get quality or it could cost you more in the long run.
