Professional Background

I am pleased to let you know about myself. I am physician and plastic surgeon from Universidad Javeriana in Bogota (Colombia). I count myself among the ones who knew as a child what their vocation was... I wanted to become a plastic surgeon!

This was compounded with a special sensitivity for the fine arts. I remember how I enjoyed the rudiments of painting and sculpting at school. Art was definitively one of my favorite subjects.

Since the first day at university I felt that "something" confirming that my heart, mind and action were perfectly aligned. This was the right place to be! I studied with passion.

Now, after more than 15 years of professional practice, I keep experiencing the same joy every morning; I know that I am going to meet new clients, or greet former ones, or be in the operating room and share with colleagues; in other words, I am going to be doing what I like the most. For all of this I am grateful to God.

The areas of my profession in which I became specialist are Face & Body Aesthetic Surgery. To that respect I feel very proud for my accomplishments with hundreds of clients. When asked about how they feel with their surgeries' outcome, they generally manifest that their face and body now look more natural and harmonious.
