As a female plastic surgeon, Dr. Friedlander is sensitive to the aesthetic needs of her patients. She understands that appearance conveys an inner sense of beauty and self esteem. Using her keen aesthetic eye and her years of experience, she is able to restore a more youthful appearance by balancing and enhancing the underlying features to create a natural appearance. Dr. Friedlander is committed to the science of beauty, and investigates new technology while continuing to promote health and well being and improving the quality of your life with safe effective surgery.

Dr. Friedlander understands that beauty is a joy forever, or at least it should be. It is not vain or foolish to want to look good. Some people wonder whether cosmetic surgery will be right for them and are hesitant to dive right in. Dr Friedlander understands this, knowing first hand that professional and maternal responsibilities can be overwhelming. She puts her patients at ease, being able to relate to all of their issues. She uses her more than 20 years of experience to advise you and help you to arrive at the decision that is best for you. No question is too small or unimportant. You are welcome to return as many times before and after surgery as needed so she, or her nurse, can address your every concern. You will find that she explains things clearly and patiently. Surgical Facility

Maintaining patient safety is Dr Friedlander's highest priority. She performs all major surgery in a hospital, or freestanding ambulatory surgery center. Minor surgical procedures, involving local anesthesia are preformed in the comfort of her office.

Consultation

The consultation serves multiple purposes. It provides you with an introduction to Dr. Friedlander and her staff, and it allows you to find out more about the procedure you are interested in. It is important to find a surgeon in whom you have the utmost confidence and with whom you have an excellent rapport, someone with excellent listening skills, who will openly and honestly discuss your concerns and particular needs, and advise you on the best way to achieve your goals. Our staff strives to make all of your encounters pleasant and comfortable, even for the most shy or discerning individuals. Cosmetic surgery gives you the ability to do more than simply change your appearance. It can transform the way you feel about yourself, providing a more positive and self-assured attitude and greater self esteem. You have taken the first set of steps intended to empower yourself. This journey begins the moment you walk through the door.

During the consultation, Dr. Friedlander will perform a medical history and then spend time listening carefully to you describe your surgical goals. She understands that there are some anxieties about elective surgery and makes it a point to get to know you in a comfortable setting before examining you. She will take the time to understand what your objectives are and then outline an approach to achieve your goals. It is important to have a realistic understanding of what can be achieved. She will help you create a foundation by discussing diet, exercise, skin health, and other basics before proceeding with the building blocks of surgery. You will have the opportunity to view photographs of others who have undergone surgery, and you will see what results can be achieved. After meeting with Dr. Friedlander, you will meet with her nurse coordinator, Debbie Fay, who will review costs with you and discuss scheduling options.

Payment Options

Visa, MasterCard, American Express, check cash or financing(Care Credit) are accepted.. Dr Friedlander’s staff will assist in the submitting claim forms to insurance carriers when indicated for reconstructive procedures.

Skin Care Products

Dr. Friedlander believes in maintaining a youthful appearance. She realizes that this begins with healthy skin and a personal commitment to daily care. She has been a strong proponent of the Obagi Skin Care programs for many years, using them herself, and recommends them to her patients.
