Dr. Brett Snyder grew up in Jacksonville, and returned to his home town several years ago to join Ponte Vedra Plastic Surgery. Dr. Snyder has an extensive background in plastic and reconstructive surgery -- including cosmetic surgery, craniofacial surgery, and breast reconstruction -- as well as laser skin rejuvenation.
Dr. Snyder received his medical degree from Vanderbilt University and then completed a six year residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Stanford University in California. The following year, he served as Fellow at the Australian Craniofacial Unit in Adelaide, Australia. He then returned to Stanford and joined the Clinical Faculty where he developed programs in Craniofacial and Cosmetic Surgery for the 3.5 million members of the Kaiser Northern California health plan. In 2000, Dr. Snyder joined Napa Valley Plastic Surgery Associates. However, after four years in Napa, he and his wife wanted their children to grow up closer to family, and they moved back to Jacksonville.
In addition to his primary cosmetic practice at PVPS, Dr. Snyder works at Nemours Children's Clinic several days a month performing complex pediatric craniofacial procedures. He also works at Baptist Beaches and Flagler Medical Centers where he performs reconstructive breast surgery.

Hobbies and Interests
Dr. Snyder has also been involved with Interplast, a non-profit organization providing free reconstructive surgery to children around the world. He has led trips to Laos and participated in surgical missions to Vietnam and Peru. Dr. Snyder lives in Ponte Vedra with his wife and three children.
