Doctor Ristow is contributing author to numerous books and has authored articles in plastic surgery for professional publications. He has had the honor of being a frequent lecturer to national plastic surgery societies and international plastic surgery groups. Notable were his courses presented annually to the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and his courses to the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Inc. Doctor Ristow became Co-Chairman of the teaching courses of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and then served as the Chairman for the teaching courses.

Hobbies and Interests

Dr. Ristow¹s love of Art includes sculpture, furniture and paintings. He plays the piano and loves music. He enjoys very much classical music but also jazz and popular compositions.

Christian Children's Fund has been a passion for him. For 30 consecutive years he has sponsored 25-35 children per year.

Love for geography has taken him to far places in the world from Patagonia to Africa and to the Czech Republic, Russia, Far East, Alaska, etc.
