Breast Revision - General Description

Even in the face of proper planning and execution of a breast implant surgery, changes can and do occur leading to the consideration of undergoing breast implant revision surgery. These changes can be implant-related or from natural changes in the breast tissue such as after childbirth and breast-feeding. The goal of the plastic surgeon with the first time breast implant surgery is to help the patient achieve their goal by choosing not only the right implant but the proper surgical procedure.
