Professional Background

Dr. Reath received his surgical training at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond and completed plastic surgery training at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He is an Associate Professor at the University of Tennessee Medical Center and has been in practice in Knoxville since 1986.

Hobbies and Interests

Dr. Reath is a longtime resident of Knoxville, Tennessee where he lives with his wife and three children (all of them in college!). Dr. Reath and his family enjoy rowing, sailing, cooking together and UT football. When not in operating, seeing patients in the office or blogging about plastic surgery education issues, Dr. Reath can usually be found singing baritone in the choir at the Church of the Ascension, cheering at one of his children's many sporting events, or racing competitively with his wife in their double shell.
