He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS), which means he has met the highest standards for those in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery. He has won national recognition for development of a new surgical technique to improve facial proportions and balance following surgery. Dr. Hackney performs all surgeries at a hospital or certified surgery center. The hospitals and
surgery centers offer the best possible care available for our patients. They provide the latest
technologically advanced medical equipment and professional medical assistance is available at
all times. All of the hospitals and surgery centers are accredited.

Consultation

It is Dr. Hackneys priority to make your first visit as comfortable as possible. The purpose of the consultation is to discover your expectations, desires and goals. The consultation provides ample time for you to ask questions or express any concerns you may have about the procedure. Dr. Hackney will give you a professional and honest opinion about what he believes he can achieve. Our goal is to provide you with the information you need to make a decision that is best for you.

The consultation process is as follows:

When you call to schedule your consultation, the receptionist will ask if she may send you a packet of information. This information will include a brochure about the procedure, information regarding Dr. Hackney, as well as medical history and patient information forms for you to fill out and bring with you to your appointment. When you arrive, the nurse will accompany you to an exam room where she will briefly go over your chart and the concerns you will be discussing with Dr. Hackney. Dr. Hackney will consult with you regarding your desired procedure and perform a physical exam. After your consultation, you will be given an opportunity to speak with Dr. Hackneys patient coordinator in the privacy of her office. She will provide you with procedure costs and dates available for surgery, should you wish to schedule your procedure at that time. You are always welcome to call with additional questions after your consultation.

AMS Patient Financing Program, endorsed by ASPS.
