Hobbies and Interests

Dr. Branfmans’ dedication to beauty is exemplified by his interest in and enjoyment of music and art. He often spends his evenings playing his Steinway, or producing a painting. He generously supports the Victoria Symphony Orchestra, Victoria Ballet Theatre, The Bach festival, and the Performing Arts Center Project. Dr. Branfman is an accomplished photographer and prior to studying medicine, undergraduate studies were pursued in radio, TV, and Film, followed by a short career in this field. By weaving together long years of surgical training with a previous career as a professional photographer, a keen eye and appreciation for the aesthetic has evolved.
