Dr. Spinelli obtained his undergraduate and medical degrees from Johns Hopkins University and The New York University School of Medicine, respectively. He was formally trained in ophthalmology at The Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital, general surgery at Columbia-Presbyterian and plastic surgery at New York University. Additionally, he has subspecialty training and expertise in craniofacial, aesthetic and microsurgery.
Dr. Spinelli has gained national and international recognition in the areas of craniofacial, oculoplastic and aesthetic surgery and he continues to lecture, teach and write extensively in these areas.
Currently, Dr. Spinelli holds faculty appointments at Weill Cornell University Medical College as Clinical Professor of Surgery and Clinical Professor of Neurological Surgery and has served on the faculty of Yale University as the Director of Craniofacial Surgery.
Hobbies and Interests
In addition to his private practice and teaching responsibilities Dr. Spinelli continues to participate in charitable organizations providing medical care.
