Hobbies and Interests

Mission Work  and Volunteerism

Dr. Boynton is passionate about his involvement in mission work.  He travels abroad to Latin America to perform cleft lip and palate surgery on mission trips.

• AGAPE in ACTION– Mission Trip to Perform Cleft Lip and Palate Repairs in the impoverished mountainous region of Santa Cruz del Quiche, Guatemala, May 2009
• OPERATION SAN JOSE– Mission Trip to Perform Cleft Lip and Palate Repairs with CHRISTUS St. Joseph Plastic Surgery, Sucre, Bolivia, February 10-19, 2005
• OPERATION SAN JOSE – Mission Trip to Perform Cleft Lip and Palate Repairs with CHRISTUS St. Joseph Plastic Surgery, Lima, Peru, March 8-16, 2002 
• At Home, he is active in a local program in Houston called the DTAG program which involves monthly participation in aiding gang and underprivileged youth undergo laser tattoo removals so they can transition back into society.
• Also at home, he is involved in the Project CARE program to provide volunteer reconstruction to wounded veterans when they come home.
