Dr. Scanland is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and American Board of Surgery. She is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.

Professional Background

Dr. Scanland received her degree from the University of Tennessee-Memphis Center for Health Sciences. She completed a six-year residency in General Surgery and a two-year residency in Plastic Surgery at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, TN. She then completed a rotational fellowship in Atlanta, Nashville, and Birmingham in cosmetic surgery and breast reconstruction.
