Doctor Perlman has presented papers at the American Association of Hand Surgeons, as well as symposiums on sports injuries. He also has a regular weekly talk show on CNN radio in Houston and has been featured on Fox 26 news, the Debra Duncan show, as well as 740 KT RH talk radio.
