Dr. Pinsky is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, the only board recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties to credential plastic surgeons.
Dr. Pinsky attended dental school at Emory University, then went on to graduate from The Ohio State University Medical School. He completed both his general surgery and plastic surgery training at the University of Texas at Houston. As part of his plastic surgery program, Dr. Pinsky received advanced training in both cancer reconstruction-at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Hospital-and cosmetic surgery-at St. Josephs Hospital.
Dr. Pinsky has been in private practice in the Palm Beach area for 10 years.
Dr. Pinskys medical school honors and board certifications attest to his knowledge, but his ability to listen and understand each patients unique needs and concerns are what patients rave about most. 95% of Dr. Pinskys cosmetic patients are referred by other satisfied patients. And many of them have traveled from other continents to have their cosmetic surgery performed by Dr. Pinsky.
Publications and Presentations
Dr. Pinsky has been published in the esteemed international Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Journal on the subjects of breast augmentation and breast lifts and written for the book AESTHETIC BREAST SURGERY (A Volume in the Techniques in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Series). A lecturer and FDA clinical investigator for Juvederm, he has also been published in the Aesthetic Surgery Journal on the subject Juvederm and has delivered poster presentations at national plastic surgery and dermatology meetings in the United States, Australia and Europe.
He is an international speaker and frequent media guest, has lectured around the world (China, Puerto Rico), been featured in popular publications such as In Touch Magazine and New Beauty and presented to writers of publications such as Elle, Today’s BlackWoman, Parade and Prevention among others. Invited to appear on nationally syndicated radio/TV stations (CBS, NBC, FOX, ABC) he is a recognized expert on surgical and non surgical aesthetic procedures.
Hobbies and Interests
Dr. Pinsky generously shares his time and support with a number of area charities. He has been the Co-Chairman of Childrens Place at Homesafe, an organization that benefits abused and neglected children in Palm Beach County, and was a Man of the Year nominee for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in 2001. He supports and is an active committee participant for the John W. Nick Foundation for Breast Cancer Awareness, which educates men as well as women about the disease, and Place of Hope, a Palm Beach charity that helps needy children in a variety of ways. Dr. Pinsky is also active in the March of Dimes and the Young Friends of the Red Cross.
In addition to helping those in need and supporting cancer education, Dr. Pinsky is a patron of the arts. He is a member of the Young Friends of the Kravis Center, which raises funds to bring a number of performing arts events to the Palm Beach area.
Dr. Pinsky is a native of Cincinnati, and was raised in North Miami Beach. When not seeing patients, he is an avid golf enthusiast.
