Dr. Hobar is a respected leader in the plastic surgery community. He serves on many committees and is involved with numerous higher education programs nationwide. He routinely writes articles, papers and gives national presentations to share his knowledge and expertise with other plastic surgeons. A few of the topics include: ideal facial features in attractive faces, optimal planning for nasal and chin surgery, genioplasty vs. chin implants, the subperiosteal cheek pad lift, the comparison of different levels of dissections in facelifts, endoscopic browlift, tear drop and round shaped breast implants and facial implants. Dr. Hobar's significant contributions to the advancement of plastic surgery have earned him the prestigious election to the American Association of Plastic Surgeons.
