Professional Background

Dr. Blevins completed a full General Surgery Residency on the Harvard Surgical Service at Boston City and New England Deaconess Hospital in Boston. He did Fellowships in General and Vascular Surgery at the Lahey Clinic and at King's College Hospital, London. He completed his formal medical training with a Residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.

Dr. Blevins has an appointment as Associate Clinical Professor of Surgery at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and has served as Chief of Staff at River Oaks Hospital and Chief of Plastic Surgery at St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital, both in Jackson.
