Dr. Anderson is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology. He has more than 25 years surgical experience and 20 years using lasers in surgical procedures. Dr. Anderson earned his medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School, spent four years at the Mayo Graduate School in Rochester in an Oto/Head & Neck Surgery Residency, and completed Plastic Surgery residency at the University of Michigan. He is a frequent presenter at national and international plastic surgery meetings and authors book chapters and journal articles on procedures which he has pioneered.

Teaching and writing about plastic surgery; skiing, running, hiking, art collecting and travel.

Community involvement: American Coalition Against Domestic Violence: Dr. Anderson volunteers his surgical skills to surgically restore the faces of battered women enrolled in the recovery program run by this coalition.

Project X-Tattoo: Dr. Anderson volunteers Saturday hours to conduct laser surgery, removing tattoos for Phoenix ex-gang members in the Phoenix Parks & Recreation department program, which is now achieving national acclaim.

Scottsdale League for the Arts: Dr. Anderson served as a member of the board for this major fundraiser. The League promotes arts education in our school system.
