Board Certification

Dr. Hamas is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. To receive this certification, he completed six years of training after medical school and then passed rigorous written and oral examinations. Dr. Hamas earned his M.D. from Ohio State University, did his Residency in General Surgery at the University of Texas in Galveston, and his Residency in Plastic Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh. He has been in private practice in Dallas since 1979.
