Professional Background

Since 1985, Dr. Goldstein has been in plastic surgery practice receiving his undergraduate degree from the University of Tampa, his medical degree from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine, and served a residency in general surgery and plastic surgery at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.

The American Board of Plastic Surgery is an organization that Dr. Goldstein is very active in and has also received their Board Certification. In 1988 he became a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Because he firmly believes in continuing education, Dr. Goldstein attends numerous professional meetings and conferences every year to enhance his high level of expertise with the latest technological advances in the field of plastic surgery.

Dr. Goldstein has written many academic articles in the field of plastic, reconstructive and hand surgery. He is a Clinical Instructor at the University of Colorado, Department of Plastic Surgery. He is an active member of numerous professional societies including the highly esteemed (ASAPS) American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. Dr. Goldstein is presently a consultant for the Colorado Board of Medical Examiners and is involved in the Preceptorship Program with the Denver Public Schools, introducing young students to medicine.

When Dr. Goldstein has the time, he enjoys the beauty of the outdoors in Colorado. He enjoys hunting, fishing, skiing and bicycling.
