Dr. Pfeifer is a clinical investigator for the Inamed Corporation Style 410 Silicone-Filled Breast Implant Continued Access Reconstruction/Revision Expansion (CARE) Clinical Study and the McGhan Medical Corporation Silicone-Filled Breast Implant Adjunct Clinical Study.

Dr. Pfeifer has served as an editorial consultant for journals including Aesthetic Surgery Journal and Journal of LASERs in Surgery and Medicine.
