AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ required for Part II-IV (Life Long Learning and practice assessment modules) of the can be earned by attending selected optional education where the symbol appears. These courses have been approved by The American Board of Plastic Surgery and qualify for each of the five designated tracer procedures of the Cosmetic Module for : abdominoplasty, augmentation/mammaplasty, blepharoplasty, face lift, and liposuction. A patient safety course has also been approved for non-practicing plastic surgeons.

All will be reported to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons for recording in the combined plastic surgery database. However, physicians are required to self-report their credits to The American Board of Plastic Surgery in fulfilling Part II-IV (Life Long Learning and practice assessment modules) of the process.
