Residents

You may register as a Resident or Fellow if -
You are in an approved plastic surgery residency or fellowship program. The greatest benefit we offer residents and fellows is the opportunity to attend The Aesthetic Meeting for FREE! The meeting registration fee is waived for residents and fellows who meet the following criteria:

Residents in the United States or Canada: If you are currently enrolled in the Resident Program, no additional documentation is required. You may register online or fax in your registration form. If you have questions regarding the resident program, or if you are not sure if you are already enrolled, contact Marissa Simpson marissa@surgery.org. To register without enrolling in the resident program, submit a registration form and certification letter from your Chief of Service stating you are a current resident or fellow in an approved plastic surgery program with your expected date of graduation

International Residents: Must submit a registration form and certification letter from your Chief of Service stating you are a current resident or fellow in an approved plastic surgery program with your expected date of graduation along with a verification letter from the national plastic surgery society that your Chief of Service is a member of that national society.

Residents and Fellows may attend the Society scientific meeting, Welcome Reception, exhibits, all coffee breaks and lunches, the Program Book, and online access to abstracts and course handouts.

Course Monitors:

Volunteer and Receive FREE COURSE REGISTRATION!
Residents and fellows are needed to serve as monitors and assist teaching course instructors. Volunteers will have the rare opportunity to work closely with recognized experts in aesthetic surgery and be an important and integral part of the success of the teaching courses. Responsibilities include:

  • Attend an Information Meeting for Monitors (date/time/location to be announced.)
  • Arrive at the designated Monitor Check-In thirty minutes prior to the beginning of the course to be monitored.
  • Collect tickets from each registrant at the door and assist the instructor as needed.

Aside from the responsibilities above, monitors can participate and receive full credit for the course they monitor. There is no limit to the number of courses a resident can monitor. Please call the Aesthetic Society at (800) 364-2147 or send an email to kerry@surgery.org as soon as possible to reserve specific courses you wish to monitor. Requests for courses are handled on a first-come, first-served basis.
