It will focus on a comprehensive educational experience that encompasses a didactic lecture on the technique of the MACS lift, case study discussions, bioskills on cadaver heads to practice the MACS lift, and a closing discussion period. This course is designed to address both the technical matters of learning a new procedure and the process by which it can be used to produce excellent outcomes for patients.
Objectives:
- Given a facial rejuvenation patient, analyze pre-operative deformities and develop a process for specific techniques for correction of each deformity.
- Given an array of pre-operative deformities, describe step-by-step how to perform the specific surgical techniques for correction with the MACS lift and other complimentary procedures such as temporal brow lift.
- While performing the MACS lift, recognize intra-operative pitfalls and apply techniques to prevent or correct them.
- During the early and late post-operative period, manage the routine and the complicated facial rejuvenation patient.
- Develop an understanding for the entire process of facial rejuvenation that encompasses the MACS Lift approach and incorporate it into the range of procedures that is offered to patients seeking facial rejuvenation.
