On behalf of the Aesthetic Society’s Board of Directors,
I look forward to seeing you May 3–8, 2012, as we journey
to the dazzling and vibrant Canadian city of Vancouver,
British Columbia, for the premiere aesthetic surgery
educational event. The Aesthetic Meeting is your passport
to higher education, and this year will be more interactive,
with a diverse array of dynamic sessions. Not only are some
of your favorites returning, such as “Global Hot Topics,” “Cosmetic Medicine 2012,”
and “Facelift: Planning and Technique,” but we have some exciting new courses as
well, each designed to deliver the latest in education from the experts you trust.
We have over 200 technical and scientific exhibits, hands-on cadaver workshops
and live demonstrations, and you’ll learn proven techniques for both managing
and growing your practice through social media and practice marketing
sessions. This year, you have the opportunity to earn up to 47.75 AMA PRA
Category credits™. Attend the entire 2012 Scientific Session to receive 8 patient
safety CME credits, and up to 10.5 patient safety CME credits by attending select
Optional Courses.
Vancouver is a terrific destination the entire family can enjoy, with much to offer in
terms of shopping, dining, and attractions—not to mention scenic beauty. And with
our new Show Your Badge discount program, you’ll be able to enjoy savings at
participating restaurants and retail shops.
For this year’s 1970s themed Presidential Dinner Dance, make sure to pack your disco fashions, leisure suits, and platform shoes as we groove and party the night
away. It is gonna be dy-no-mite!
But, as always, The Aesthetic Meeting’s primary focus is education. It is our duty and
obligation to ensure that each in our field delivers exceptional expertise in patient
care and safety, and through our outstanding educational offerings, we hope to
help do just that.
Registration begins January 10th, so register early to receive Early Bird discounts,
and meet me in Vancouver!
