Current Officers and Committees

The leadership of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) is comprised of plastic surgeons who volunteer to serve as elected officers and committee members.

ASAPS encourages the active involvement of its members in helping to fulfill the Society's educational mission. Volunteering to serve on any of the various ASAPS committees allows you to have a greater voice in the future of your Society, and it helps you to build lifelong relationships with your peers. Leadership positions in the Aesthetic Society are based on merit and service to the organization.

We realize that time is a precious commodity, but rest assured that participation in an ASAPS committee will be a rewarding and valuable experience.

To volunteer for committee service contact Dr. Alan H. Gold, ASAPS President-Elect, at ahgmd@mindspring.com or email the ASAPS Central Office, asaps@surgery.org, and outline your specific area(s) of interest. Committee appointments are made by the president-elect in the Spring of each year for the following term.
