(ASJ) is an official publication of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the official English-language journal of the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery, Colombian Society of Plastic, Aesthetic, Maxillofacial and Hand Surgery, Costa Rican Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, Dutch Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, Israel Society for Plastic Surgeons, Japan Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, Korean Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, Mexican Association of Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery, and the Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons of Thailand. It is the most widely read clinical journal in the field of cosmetic surgery, with subscribers in more than 80 countries.
ASJ is indexed by MEDLINE/PubMed, and other major indices and is actively seeking manuscript submissions: original research, review and technique articles related to the safety and effectiveness of aesthetic surgical and nonsurgical treatments.
ASJ, published by Elsevier, is distributed internationally in both print and online versions. Full text and graphics are available online and can be accessed at www.aestheticsurgeryjournal.com. Subscribers to the print journal have free access to the online journal. Nonsubscribers can access articles online by pay-per-view.
