Application

If you are a citizen of the U.S., its territories or Canada and in at least your third year of active plastic surgery practice following certification by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS), or certification in plastic surgery by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, you may be eligible to apply for ASAPS Active Membership.

Obtain sponsorship of two ASAPS Active Members, one sponsor practicing in the same geographic region but not an associate within the same plastic surgery practice. Your sponsor will arrange for application materials to be sent to you from the ASAPS Central Office.  Download this brochure for information on starting the membership process. 

Application Deadlines July 1 & January 5

Plastic surgeons who submit their applications for membership in the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) by the July 1st deadline are eligible for election to membership at the beginning of the year. Applications submitted by the January 5th deadline are eligible for election at the ASAPS Annual Meeting in the spring. A nominal fee to cover administrative expenses associated with your application is required at the time you apply.
