Surgical Facility

All surgical procedures are performed at Saint Francis Memorial Hospital or at California Pacific Medical Center, in San Francisco. Dr. Harvey has been on the staff of both institutions for more than 20 years. Our staff will make all necessary arrangements for your admission and care while in the hospital.

Consultation

During your pre-operative consultation in our office, Dr. Harvey will take your medical history, perform an examination, take clinical photographs, and recommend and explain the procedures that are appropriate for you. Our Skin Care Specialist, Anne Elterman, RN, will evaluate and recommend care that will optimize your cosmetic result. The Patient Coordinators, Patricia Gottschalk and Mamie Lee, will discuss financial information and scheduling the procedures.

Skin Care Products

The In-Office Skin Care Program includes:

The BioMedic Skin Care Program (www.biomedic.com) and The Refinity Skin Care Program.

They consist of in-office exfoliation treatments and Home Care Products specific to the individual needs of each patient. The programs are suitable for both men and women. They are effective in treating aging skin, sun damage, uneven pigmentation, and acne.

Chemical Peels

A variety of chemical peels are provided based on an individuals needs. They produce therapeutic benefits for all skin types.

Microdermabrasion

This is an efficient non-invasive method of exfoliating the outermost layers of the skin. The technique relies on the delivery of minute crystals to the surface of the skin. The results are immediate. It produces a vibrant, healthier looking complexion while correcting a variety of skin issues.
