What is the dosage of Botox injection for Blepharospasm?

Q:

The Dr. gave me an injection for Blepharospasm. She started out with 30 units and told me it could be adjusted. How can I know if it needs to be adjusted? What am I looking for to happen or not happen? What information will she need from me to be able to tell?

A:

Ideally, the doctor will be looking for your blepharospasm to be corrected completely and for facial symmetry without complications such as eyelid or brow drooping. I usually wait 1 to 2 weeks to reevaluate to ascertain whether you need further treatment.
