Hip flexibility surgery?

Q:

I've been stretching for 2 years 6 times a week; muscle flexibility is improving but hip joint flexibility isn't. I have soreness after each training session (I practice Taekwondo). I can't lift my leg higher than my hip without a warm up and long stretch session.  Is there any kind of surgery that could help me? Note: Really, I've tried it all.... I know how silly this question must sound , even a 30 second leg spread makes me sore in the joints

 You would most likely require an evaluation by a hip specialist or orthopedic surgeon who specializes in sports. An evaluation may make the determination that you may actually be hurting yourself long term by attempting to make your body do more than it was physically intended to do. Surgery on joints usually can result in a decrease in range of motion not an improvement.
