  • Why should I use Aesthetic One? Aesthetic One can never be lost or misplaced! Your implant details will always be just a tap away. The app will give you peace of mind knowing you can:

    Permanently access records shared by your surgeon, such as breast implant ID cards, an operative summary with the details of your procedure, photos, and documents.
    Upload your own important medical information like vaccine records, medications lists, and insurance cards for secure digital storage.
    Securely share information with your physician through HIPAA-compliant messaging.

  • Who is eligible to use Aesthetic One? The app is currently available to patients whose physicians are in the US and are using the app in their practice.
  • How much does it cost to use Aesthetic One? There is no cost to use Aesthetic One.
  • What does HIPAA-Compliant mean? HIPAA is the acronym for the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act. HIPAA requires the protection and confidential handling of protected health information, and mandates industry-wide standards for health care information.
  • Is Aesthetic One HIPAA-Compliant? Yes! All information within Aesthetic One is stored in a HIPAA-compliant cloud account. Information viewed within the app is displayed only at the time it is viewed, meaning nothing is stored on your phone unless downloaded. All messaging is encrypted to meet the latest HIPAA-compliant standards.
  • Can Aesthetic One be used on a desktop computer? Yes! You can also access Aesthetic One from your desktop computer at https://patient.aestheticone.com/.
  • Can I use the app even if I am not connected with a physician? You will need to connect with a physician to be able to access the app.
  • Who created Aesthetic One? This app was created by The Aesthetic Society—the world's leading professional organization of board-certified plastic surgeons. The app is powered by Anzu Medical and made possible by the support of Allergan Aesthetics, an AbbVie company.

Breast Implant ID card

  • Why is my implant ID card important? Your Aesthetic One digital implant ID card gives you secure and permanent access to your implant information including serial numbers, manufacturer details, procedure date, and operative summary. This information is important for you to maintain and share with your physician if you have a future procedure like a breast implant revision or replacement.

Document Vault

  • What is a Document Vault and how does it work? The Document Vault is where your implant ID card and other documents are saved. Within your vault, you can save documents, photos, and weblinks. These are your documents and can only be shared with your permission.
  • How do I share my information with my surgeon? Items within your document vault can be shared with your physician(s) by tapping the “Document Vault” icon from the home screen and then selecting “My Information” from the menu within your vault. You will then be able to documents, links, and photos by tapping + Add next to the type of information you’d like to add.

HIPAA-Compliant Messaging

  • How does the messaging feature work? The messaging feature enables you to privately message your physician and their staff. Talk to your doctor about hours of availability for communication on the app. Never use the app in the case of an emergency.
